Anne Warnock: Owner
Together with her husband, Sam, Anne owns and manages Sam Wong Salon. Born and raised in England, Anne immigrated to New York City when she was 19.
Anne worked in the fashion and beauty industry for many years including some of the top U.S. fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and V Magazine. She took that knowledge and experience and applied it to her next position: fashion stylist at Barneys New York where she pursued her love of fashion.
Not being a hair stylist herself, but coming from a customers point of view, she understands that finding a stylist you trust isn’t easy. ”You want a good haircut that lasts until your next visit. You want a salon were the products used are the healthiest on the market and a color line that suits you. A place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of every day life! Sip some tea, flick through magazines, sit back and be fussed over”
Her passion is “all things natural” animal welfare, preserving our planet and bringing awareness to modern day human slavery. Supporting the community in which she lives and works is also important to Anne and her team. Working with numerous local and International charities throughout the year, is something Anne feels is an important element to becoming a successful business.
